    I click play and nothing happened

    So theres something wrong with both my 1.12.2 and forge for 1.12.2, everytime i click on play, nothing happened the tab where it says "downloading authlib or whatever" shows up but then it goes back to the play button and minecraft doesnt load. I looked through the launcher log and everytime i click play it always come up with "attempting to download... ....authlib" and then later "Minecraft Gave up trying to download...., ,.... authlib" heres the launcher log: this is Minecraft launcher 1.6.89-j
