I'll announce this here: I am working on this mod. It's something I've actually been thinking about doing for quite a while now.

So, I've got my block and item textures working, but I'm trying to render an item with a block texture. Whatever I try, I either get the "Texture Missing" message, or I get some random vanilla Minecraft item texture. So, my question is is it possible to have an item use a block's texture, and if so, how would I do it? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
