    Mods not working on my server

    I'm trying to make a modded server using the forge server client using a mod pack. I've put all the mods in the mod folder and when I go into the world the mods appears in nei and the creative menu but when you go to place them they just instantly disappear. I've tried copying the config files too. I start the server using the file called minecraft_server.1.7.10.jar. thanks in advance for any help anything you need just ask
