  1. I am unsure how to format this, so I copy+pasted ethe entire crash log into a spoiler (hopefully it compacts?)

  4. ok, that makes sense. But why did my server work other times but not now? EDIT: I used the command prompt and used my laptop's IPv4 Address. It worked but my laptop can handle the lag. EDIT2: another error, this time it was an actually crash. report as follows
  5. and why cant I just put a port in? I've had the server running before and it worked.

  10. ahh ok, so what should I set it to? would "play.TheFireForge.net" work? I am pretty sure it's unique
  11. oh, when I run it, it srashes and I go to minecraft to see if something was already runing and nothing was it said it couldnt connect
  12. it still doesnt work, It said "[14:02:03] [Server thread/WARN] [net.minecraft.server.dedicated.DedicatedServer]: **** FAILED TO BIND TO PORT!"
  13. Man, I knew I was stupid but I didn't think that stupid... welp. Thanks for helping me with my server. Have a nice day everyone. Hopefully, next time I'm there it will be to help someone instead of being helped... One last question. Is it possible to bring up the server's console? can I make a shortcut to do so? because when I start the forge version the console doesn't stay up for long.
  14. nevermind, I did it! the same thing happened though... here is the latest log.
  15. sorry for the delay, I was busy and just didnt get to it. what .jar fiel do I run?
  16. there wasnt a crash report so I copy and pasted the newest log
  17. all I know is this is the log. any suggestions?
  18. isnt there a console that comes up? there is one with the vnilla server
