    Minecraft Forge 1.8.9

    Hi. I recently made the change from version 1.12.2 over to version 1.8.9, to enhance my PvP capabilities in Hypixel BedWars. I downloaded Forge v.1.8.9 and proceeded to install it. However, when I selected it from the launcher, it briefly began to load, but then the directory crashed. A pop-up then appeared, saying that I was using an "unsupported modified version of the game". This proved troubling for me, as I could no longer find a way to use forge for version 1.8.9. If anyone could possibly help me with this situation, or even provide to me a way in which I can use mods without forge, that would be really helpful. Again, thanks for the help. - Phantom
