    [1.12.2] Looking for particular methods/ possibly events to cancel

    Hello, I am making a combat mod. I am having trouble finding two particular methods/events. Any help will be greatly appreciated. What I am looking for: - One that sends damage from the player to an entity within hitting distance(weapon dmg considered). - One that prevents the player from swinging on click/tick, maybe an event to cancel??? Here is what I have so far:
