So I'm playing Minecraft 1.12.2 for the Pixelmon reforged mod and some others like JouneyMap and JEI but when I press start a message pops up in the top right of the screen reading "Error! Unable to start game." it happened before but I just uninstalled it and got a different version of 1.12.2, but now I can't as it won't show up in the versions folder and when I click the three dots next to in in the launcher the Delete option isn't there, only Edit and Duplicate, so it may be glitched but when I attempt to get a new version of Forge it doesn't show up on the launcher, just in the versions folder, but the old Forge version is still there.

I'm having a similar problem, my game just won't start and on the top right it say "Error! Unable to start game." and when I try to delete it to reinstall it it doesn't show up on the versions folder. Edit: I am on 1.12.2 so maybe that's the reason.
