    Sorry for the late response but thanks to everyone, it seems the updating of the launcher did it. At first it didn't still recognized forge, but after a restart in my pc, it did, now I can finally install install the minimap mod I wanted. Thanks!

    My problem is this. I execute the installer, and it seems the download goes fine and everything. But when I launch my minecraft, there's the "forge" profile, but there isn't a forge version. Is optifine conflicting with Forge or anything? Thanks in advance, for your help.
