    thanks, is there anyway to know when a stable version of optifine gets released ? and may I also ask, even though I downloaded the latest and recommended forge build, it still says forge beta on the Minecraft main menu screen?

    I install forge, 1.14.4 ( latest and recommended build) completely fine, it loads up. but when I try to install optifine to use with forge, optifine used is 1.14.4 latest version on the main page, it doesn't work in forge. I have obviously moved the jar file to the mods folder etc. Please help me.
