    Forge 1.12.2 causing lag spikes?

    Hello. I have Forge 1.12.2 and a few mods, and the game runs perfectly for a few minutes, and then it causes lag spikes that freezes the game. Eventually it just crashes. Does anyone else have this issue? And does anyone have any solutions? Any help would be appreciated. For more details, I have a 16GB RAM Lenovo PC, so I have a pretty good computer.
