How do I add more RAM to a forge server without it crashing

so sorry, the mod was just broken but any other mod works didn't mean to waste your time -
Mods won't run on my server because the amount of RAM is too low, I try to increase it but after I do that I try to run it and it ends of crashing. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
