    Right, as I said I think I Was using the wrong terms. It opens as a .rar file, needing Winrar to open it. However, if I download 1.12.3, it will open it like normal and let me download it.

    I hope I'm using the correct terminology in here. When I say a .jar file, I mean a compressed file that I Can only open with Winrar As I said, when I try to download forge for 1.14.4, it only downloads as a .jar, so I have to open it with Winrar. I have gone through every file in the .zip and there is no .exe for me to run. I use the installer, I have java downloaded. I can even download 1.12.3 and it runs correctly. However, anything past 1.12.3 will only download as a .jar file for me, and I can't actually install forge with it. Is there something I am doing wrong, because I have seen several people say they have fixed it, but no one actually posts how.. If I figure it out, I'll be sure to post a follow up to this!
