Hi, I know nearly nothing about modding.

  1. Ah, no worries. Thanks for explaining.
  2. Minecraft loads fine when I add the file to my .jar - Forge recongizes the mod as mod_test. But when I try to add a mod that gives the game more blocks (I was already at the 256 limit before installing, I receive this error Its pretty much the same error I've been getting when I try to add mods that add blocks. The mod I'm adding is called Netherrocks, and its the Client Forge version. All the mods I'm using are compatible with Forge. The current forge version that I'm using is 3.2.5.120.
  3. Do we add the file right into Minecraft .jar with Forge already installed, or do we edit our current version of Forge?
  4. Hi. I'm currently in the process of trying to update Forge so that I can install the ID Resolver mod to my game. The current version I have installed is 3.2.5.120 and need to upgrade to 3.3.7.125. When I drag the 3.3.7 files into my .jar the game gets a black screen. 1) Do I need to reinstall all my mods in order to update Forge? 2) If not, am I installing incorrectly or is there anything else that I can do to help myself? Would appreciate a response, thanks for reading.
