Minecraft Forge Side notes: I have tested numerous builds of Minecraft Forge. On a clean install the crash won't happen, just like on a ModLoader install. Minecraft will not crash when I install Modloader MP either. It's after the Minecraft Forge install that Minecraft will crash when altering the sound volume in the options tab.

I'm sorry what's a stack trace? And I have installed everything in the correct order.

I'm having a severe crash in Minecraft when I try to change the sound option in game (which for some reason got set to 0 upon forge install) I have tried 3 of the latest builds, as well as the recommended one. I have installed forge by following the install instructions several times. No mods is installed, just the forge installation was enough. A clean install of Minecraft shows that it's not a game bug. While I'm writing this post I think it's time to also share the freeze/crash error when clicking on forge mod loader object in the "Mods" tab.
