I thought that you were suppost to extract the Mutant Creatures folder and put it in the folder in the Mods folder. Is that wrong?

For a week now I have been trying to get Mutant Creatures to work on Minecraft. THe owner of the mod says it needs Forge to work so I installed Forge to my Minecraft. But when I add the Mutant Creatures folder to my mods folder Minecraft Crashes when I try to play it. Here is the Error log.
