  1. Hey, I get this error when I run it now : [Server-Worker-7/WARN] [minecraft/ModelBakery]: Unable to load model: 'minecraft:first_mod#inventory' referenced from: minecraft:first_mod#inventory: java.io.FileNotFoundException: minecraft:models/item/first_mod.json . In my ModEventSubscriber class this is the code : package com.gmail.yoshifan100000.first_mod; import net.minecraft.item.Item; import net.minecraft.util.ResourceLocation; import net.minecraftforge.event.RegistryEvent; import net.minecraftforge.eventbus.api.SubscribeEvent; import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.Mod.EventBusSub
  2. Hello, I am following the tutorial at this link : https://cadiboo.github.io/tutorials/1.15.2/forge/1.6-item-model/. I am using eclipse and this tutorial has been working so far. However, my Src/main is empty and does not contain a /resource. I am supposed to add a .json file in src/main/resources/assets/examplemod/models/item/. It also shows a resources folder in the file explorer under src/main, but it does not contain an assets folder. What do I do?
  3. Hi, Im following this tutorial : https://codakid.com/guide-to-minecraft-modding-with-java/. I would like some assistance fixng this weird error. I get this error when I runClient : org.gradle.execution.MultipleBuildFailures: Build completed with 1 failures. at org.gradle.initialization.DefaultGradleLauncher$ExecuteTasks.run(DefaultGradleLauncher.java:350) at org.gradle.internal.operations.DefaultBuildOperationExecutor$RunnableBuildOperationWorker.execute(DefaultBuildOperationExecutor.java:300) at org.gradle.internal.operations.DefaultBuildOperationExecutor$RunnableBuildOperationWorker.e
  4. I reimported it and still get the annoying error message.
  5. I followed the file, and it is seem to be going good. However, I get this error whenever I try to run client or run server. Error: Could not find or load main class net.minecraftforge.userdev.LaunchTesting Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: net.minecraftforge.userdev.LaunchTesting
  6. Ok, I will read the file. This is not a repost, but quite similar issue as the other one was not solvable too.
  7. was using this new, updated tutorial (https://cadiboo.github.io/tutorials/1.14.2/forge/1.1-importing-project/) and followed each step correctly. However, once I got to section 1.1, I got confused. (I am using eclipse IDE). I imported the project just fine, until the tutorial shows that there is a folder called IDE in the MDK. My MDK does not have a folder called Tasks. I am very confused. Please help!
  8. Does anyone know of a good updated modding tutorial for Minecraft? I tried a lot of them and none of them are working! Thanks!
  9. Yes, I imported as a gradle project. Before I imported, I did ./gradlew build. Then I imported it as a gradle project. Thank you so much!
  10. Ok. So I am on step 8, and I edited my run configuration like they did in the tutorial. I tried it out, but it just gives an error. This is the following error : Error: Could not find or load main class net.minecraftforge.userdev.LaunchTesting Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: net.minecraftforge.userdev.LaunchTesting How would I solve this? Thank you so much for writing quickly back to me.
  11. Oh, it isn't? What could I do instead of this step?
  12. I was using this new, updated tutorial (https://cadiboo.github.io/tutorials/1.15.1/forge/) and followed each step correctly. However, once I got to section 1.1, I got confused. (I am using eclipse IDE). I imported the project just fine, until the tutorial shows that there is a folder called IDE in the MDK. My MDK does not have a folder called IDE. I am very confused. Please help! Note : I am fine with using another tutorial, as long as it is not more challenging than this one. I want to be able to code mods for Minecraft in java, and so far I tried many tutorials, yet none seem to
  13. What do you mean as importing the project as a gradle project? Sorry for this maybe silly question. Thank you!
