    No I actually tried this time with 1.12.2 instead and got the same issue.

    I have successfully downloaded forge on to my desktop though after selecting "Install Client", and "OK" the installation appears to be stalled on Downloading Libraries and doesn't move.

    I am currently attempting to download forge 1.7.10 on my Mac currently running Catalina and I have it on my desktop. I am able to open the file, and select Install Client, and okay, but the download has been at the same point reading "Unpacking packed file akka-actor_2.11-2.3.3.jar.pack.xz" Even after deleting and re-installing the forge jar multiple times, this same issue continues to occur. I have followed a number of different How-to's and tutorials on how to download forge, and haven't been able to find any solutions for this problem.
