  1. When installing Forge it says, "This application requires a Java Runtime Environment 1.6.0"

    My friend cannot use Forge 1.8.9 because of this pop-up. He really wants to download a mod but cannot get it to work. I've tried everything to help, but cannot find any information. Anyone know what I can do? I've given him the links to Java x64 Online and Offline but Forge still hasn't worked.
