  1. Well, I updated drivers and check on all the versions of Forge previously mentioned and no dice. The good news is that I decided to just reinstall the MC launcher, deleted my .minecraft and that seemed to do the trick. I'm guessing the actual culprit this whole time was a prerelease version of optifine somehow corrupting my launcher...not really sure. Either way, thanks for all the help.
  2. Alright, I can look into it later today. The only reason why I would think it is not is because I encounter no issues with graphics in any other game and so long as Forge is not installed or Optifine is installed with Forge. I have never modded minecraft or done anything in the way of game development, but does Forge use some way to deal with rendering that is not common in other titles? I only ask because, again, I am only getting issues with Forge and it seems to be directly linked to chunks and block updates. Regardless, I will still update them today to just double check and I will get back. If that does not fix it, however, no worries. I will probably just run Optifine and hope they release a version that is compatible with IE sometime in the future.
  3. Absolutely, Here is a link to a Google Drive with the zipped world save - let me know if there is another way you would rather me share it. And my specs: I am running a Ryzen 5 3600 stock and OC a GTX 1070 with afterburner. I have 16 GB of ram, and I dedicate 5 or 6 GB of it to MC normally.
  4. I just tried now (Forge 31.2.21) and nothing has changed: the rendering glitch is persistent. Here are the logs.
  5. I am not quite sure which logs will help so I just posted debug.log, latest.log, and the forge installer log here.
  6. Hi all, I am running into a rendering issue with forge. I am currently using forge version 31.2.0 however I have also tried 31.2.21 and 31.2.20. To give more context, when I walk around the world, everything is perfectly fine, no rendering issues or fps issues at all. When I make some sort of update by placing or breaking a block, however, these weird rendering glitches occur (redstone of any sort does not seem to create these issues however). The imgur post shows some of the worst of it: most times it make the grass (not the grass block, just the grass, tall grass, and other plants) invisible. The rendering glitches also seem to be contained within the chunk for the most part, but it can vary. It only occurs within a certain radius of the placed or broken block at the very least. Edit: Additionally, after some random amount of time (a few seconds to a minute) everything goes back to normal. As I have said before, I tried some different versions of Forge, but I have also tried deleting and reinstalling vanilla 1.15.2 (this rendering glitch does not happen in vanilla). I have tried updating Java, then reinstalling Forge. None of this seems to work. I have no other mods installed, however when I install Optifine (pre24, pre26, and pre27) this glitch is fixed. I do not want to have to use Optifine, however, as Immersive Engineering does not play well with it, and so I will be dealing with graphical issues regardless. Any ideas on what else I should do to fix this? Edit 2: Logs
