    Where is forge in my files?

    I downloaded forge 1.8.9 for skyblock addons and it worked fine. Then I downloaded forge 1.12.2 to use a different mod and i took out all the other mods fine, but when i put skyblock addons back in the mods folder and went to play minecraft, I noticed the forge 1.8.9 installation was missing. So i tried to create it again and it didn't work. Forge 1.12.2 was there but my 1.8.9 version wasn't working. I re-downloaded 1.8.9 multiple time and it still didn't work. I don't know where the forge is located in the files so i'm kind of stuck now.
