Actually, think I may have figured it out, so nevermind

I'm new to making mods and I'm trying to make custom trees, and I've looked in so many different places and still can't figure out what I need to put in my .json under blockstates in order for my logs to function like vanilla logs. I tried to copy and paste from oak_log.json in blockstates, and change it so it applied to my mod, but it didn't work, so I would appreciate some help
