  1. Alright, I'll try that, then. Will post again if removing all of these doesn't fix the issue.
  2. Hoo boy. That is a lot of mods right there. Thanks for that; a list like this probably took a while to put together. So correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I understand, my main course of action here should be to let the developers know about this stuff to start off?
  3. this took SO much longer than it should have I am SO sorry here's debug.log (Dropbox link, it was too big for Pastebin. you'll have to download it to read it unfortunately) and latest.log just in case (also Dropbox), and here's the videos (it's in two parts because I could not care less at this point, I just want these out there asap. note that I do swear a bit in these because of how long this whole thing was taking, and there may be some background noise) again I am so sorry this took so long to get, honestly I'm surprised nobody locked the thread with how long it was taking
  4. I have been staring at this stupid dirt loading screen for twenty minutes. This might take a while.
  5. Will add logs in a few minutes with a reply: as I think this will be best demonstrated if I use a fresh world and turn on the bonus chest, I'm going to need a bit of time to get one up and running. I'll also record what happens for a video record of the event.
  6. Foreword: I don't claim to know what files to add here, since I don't think this would appear in a log file or something similar, but I can get one if needed. Additionally, I know the EAQ says only the latest version is supported, but I would like to believe this bug isn't dependent on version, and I saw another 1.15.2 thread get responded to within the last few days, so I think this is a safe enough bet for me. --- I am using Forge 1.15.2-31.2.47 with about 229 mods of varying resource intensity. Every time I open any naturally-generated chest in any of my modded worlds (bonus chest, dungeons, shipwrecks, etc.), they always turn up empty. I don't know enough about how Minecraft works to give any truly helpful guesses as to what's causing this, but my main suspicion is: the absurd amount of stuff the game has to try and consolidate into items to put into chests has somehow completely broken, or maybe erased, their data tables entirely. I admit, I probably have way too many mods for my own good, so it won't surprise me to hear "uninstall some mods" as the answer, but can anyone give me a hand at all?
  7. Same thing I usually do, then. Gotcha. Thanks for this, and sorry I made you sift through that 7GB mess of a log to help.
  8. Is there anything I can do about this? I haven't had this problem before now.
  9. Okay, take two, everyone. Let's try this again. This one was too big for the other site and outright broke it, so this link is also Google Drive.
  10. Must have overlooked it. I'm a bit preoccupied right now, but once I finish up I'll get that and reply again.
  11. I added a bunch of new mods to my Minecraft a little while ago, and now I can't make a new world. The game never outright freezes, but it either stops processing things or takes an insanely long time to do so, and as far as I can tell the world generation makes no more progress. The log was too big for Pastebin, so I had to use a different site, but I have it here. Additionally, here's a screenshot of where the game stopped updating the loading screen. (Google Drive, by the way.) As far as I can tell, it's still trying to process things at the end, but either can't complete it or takes forever doing it. I waited on the DSODL (Dirt Screen of Death Lite; I've seen worse) for over half an hour with no visible progress made to be safe, since I know worlds can take a while to generate (especially with how many mods I have). From what little info I can gather, the cause might be Better Animals Plus, but I don't have any experience reading these logs, so I'm posing the question here, too: what should I do to fix this?
  12. ngl I had this thread open and the reply notification noise made me jump a little bit- I will. I'm booting up Minecraft now; I've quarantined the mod so I can test this out. Edit 4:07 AM: Success! I can once again access the world. Thanks a bunch!
  13. Huh. Alright, gotta admit, was not expecting that one to be the problem. I don't think I have the courage to say something like That to the dev, but I'll mention this in the comments. Let me see how the world works out if I get rid of that mod, and I'll get back to you on how this goes.
  14. I can't get into my main survival world at the moment. This world is a singleplayer world running the latest Forge build for 1.15.2 at the time of this post being made (1.15.2 - 31.2.41), and I can't figure out what the issue is. I found another post on here from a few years ago (link here) that seems to cover a similar issue, but in all honesty, I don't understand a word of it since there's so much there for my brain to take in. Purely my own fault. Below is what happened when I realized something was up. . I was playing the game when I noticed that everything had essentially frozen in time around me; a common thing for me that I now call The Edge or being Edged, so I did my usual strategy of using Task Manager to close the game (when Edged, the game processing is essentially unresponsive by now, so I have to use Task Manager) and reboot it a little bit later once everything's settled down some. Normally, this loads everything just fine (with some rollback). This time, however, I got a crash before the world loads, with this crash log being the one that seems to cover the most ground. The launcher's text is: The game crashed whilst exception in server tick loop Error: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Duplicate id value for 7! Exit Code: -1 This persists every time I try to open this world. I have not tested other worlds to see if they have the same issue; in all honesty, it only occurred to me as I was writing this post, and I don't want to wait for fifteen minutes for a world to load so I can test it right now. Somebody in a Discord server I'm in (not Minecraft- or Forge-focused, mind you, but there's some programmers in there) said that the "snowrealmagic" mod may be the cause. I tried booting without that mod, or its dependency "mixinbootstrap", but nothing changed; all that happened was their entries being removed from the end of the file. They also proposed the idea that "the mods used contain duplicated IDs of the same value. With the Exit Code being -1, it means there's two mods that aren't compatible with each other." Can anyone help me out here?
