    attached is a text file from CMD whilst it installs. as you can see it fails to find this file from the site Downloading library from https://files.minecraftforge.net/maven/org/scala-lang/scala-compiler/2.11.1/scala-compiler-2.11.1.jar java.io.FileNotFoundException: https://files.minecraftforge.net/maven/org/scala-lang/scala-compiler/2.11.1/scala-compiler-2.11.1.jar forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2854-installer.jar.log

    +1 on this exactly the same error message on the imgur link i too have successfully installed the 1.16.4 version. however i am lead to believe that the location these files are downloaded from have been removed As you say on the rules... update to the newer version to get support.. however most modpacks are not on the newer version. and this seems to be a recurring issue with this file install. pls help.
