Hey again, I have installed FML (5.0.15.566) and i keep getting this error: I have launched AGAIN and AGAIN and still nothing. i downloaded the files manually and it said a very similar thing (it just said it found it, but the same check sum error) Here is the whole log, just in case: Anything?

Do you know how to get 1.5? Updating Minecraft always ends with 1.4.7.

Word of warning to everyone: NEVER USE IZARC TO INSTALL FORGE. It "forgot" the ibxm folder ASWELL. Anyway, putting that in it's correct place fixed it. I am having a bad time with FML.

Right... I checked the error log, it's all 'Fine' 'Finer' and 'Finest' and then smack bang at the end is the exception details. The only 'Severe' is this:

Hmm. It updates to 1.4.7. Whatever, must be beta or something. Reinstalled FML, and same thing. i had a closer look at minecraft.jar, and IZArc had decided not to copy the cpx or net folders! copied them over again, works fine now! thx!

I just realized there is a MC update out! (1.5) I'll update, install latest FML, and see what happens.

It still wont start... HOWEVER, That is VERY different.

Hey, I have just installed FML (6.6.2.534) and i am getting a black screen. When i start MC (1.4.7) The Dirt and Done Loading screen stays for a bit longer then usual, then nothing. black. No windows, errors or anything. Before you ask, this is the third time i have installed and updated. I have also tried FML (6.6.0.497) which is the recommended one and Nothing. there is no evidence that FML was ever installed! no mods/coremods folders, no logs, nothing except for the files in minecraft.jar being different. Any ideas? I need help PLEASE
