Is there anywhere that I could get support for the same?

Hey, I just realized my current Modpack is using a very outdated version of forge, so I cannot update some of the mods inside of it. Is there anyway I can update it without having to reconfigure everything. Selecting the .minecraft folder in the installer just downloads a new version with forge. If I try to select the modpack file in versions folder, it says this directory is missing a launcher profile. Is there anyway I can update my version to the latest one without having to loose all my configs? I use 1.8.9 Forge, with over 25-35 mods.
