Hello, I am a new user to forge and can't seem to download 1.8.9 for 1.8.9 mods. I've tried troubleshooting, reinstalling, restarting, etc, but nothing has worked. This is my step-by-step process on how I've been trying to download forge. 1. Open the MC launcher. 2. Create a new installation. 3. Put the version as 1.8.9 4. Put my resolution in (1920 x 1080) 5. Allow MC to use 4 GB of RAM. 6. After, I launch the game, then close it. 7. After, I go to the forge website, choose the 1.8.9 version, and I install the reccomended version. 8. After the installer is done, I open it and click "install client". 9. My Java is installed and up to date, and all libraries are downloaded successfully. 10. However, when I restart MC, I don't see the version of forge that has 1.8.9, meaning that it wasn't successfully installed? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
