I am sorry but what is a server folder and where am i suppose to find it

where is the server.jar file suppose to be?

it is currently named forge-1.17.1-37.0.27-installer.jar

I am sorry to take your time like that but please understand that it is not easy for someone that has no experience using mac and poor english skills to find something when the only indication is "the same folder where you downloaded the installer" Is this the right file? JREInstallLog.txt

hello I am curently having some issues installing the latest 1.17.1 forge version: 1.17.1 - 37.0.27 This problem occure with this version but also with other versions such as 1.8.9 Basically when I try to download forge I go into the downloads file and open it, click on "install client" and then "OK" and after the download i meet this error message: file:///Users/gibonmatthias/Desktop/Capture d’écran 2021-08-06 à 22.48.33.png I have seen in the common problem and solutions in the rules a problem similar to mine but can't download the file btw I already reinstalled minecraft, i do not have any mod/ launcher/ ressource pack installed, i updated java and tried to turn off my fire wall thanks for your help and sorry for the bad english
