    Adding Attributes to Character by importing JSON

    My son likes to develop his first mod - I am familiar with several programming languages - but I have no time to deep dive into Forge/Minecraft. I like to add attributes to the class of the players character. Best way to get data for the attributes would be to parse an external JSON which the player should select by self browsing on the own computer (he likes to use existing data from another game). 1) Is it possible to add attributes and how to access them in the players object out of the game 2) is there a best practice to offer players to select files from their computer (JSON) Hope you can help me out there ... please support a hard working child 🙂
