    for 1.12.2 but ive tried it in other ones and it isnt working either forge on minecraft is running fine tho

    i have tried everything and no matter what i do i can not open up a forge server i can open a normal server with this method fine but it wont let me run the forge no matter what i do whether it be a bat file clicking on it using jar fix clicking on it at different points in the steps it just wont open. how do i fix this?
