Hello everyone who's watching this.
Lately i've tried to download forge 1.16.5, but it just opens the windows cmd for a quick second and then closes again, i've looked at different threads on different fora and tried what's listed there. I use Windows as OS and i have installed Java 8 update 341. I've tried the following things:
Reinstalling Java completely.
Tried running it with java -jar forge-1.16.5-36.2.34-installer.jar in the CMD
Tried different forge versions.
Yet it still doesn't work, when i try to open it via the CMD as i mentioned above, i first go to the file location (via dir) where i've stored the forge installer (just my desktop), after that i tried using the following command: "java -jar forge-1.16.5-36.2.34-installer.jar" but then i get the error message: Error: "Unable to access jarfile forge-1.16.5-36.2.34-installer.jar"
Is there anyone who can help me?
