    No audio in game? "playing forge 44.0.18

    I had reinstalled minecraft, and also booted the curse forge launcher app. I noticed I don't have any audio. I do have audio if I just play default minecraft. I also uninstalled and reinstalled minecraft. I decided to install a sound pack to see if I could fix it. But the sounds only work on the single player/multiplayer screen. In game, theres no sound at all. I assume something didn't install right still, so I uninstalled and reinstalled Forge, still nothing. What am I missing? Edit: also did F3 +T And F3 +S, no in game building or mob/ animal sounds at all.
