    actually there was another issue windows was selecting built-in laptop GPU, instead of the dedicated one - what you said cleared few things for me.. so again thanks.

    thanks for your attention and assist more importantly Happy new year :). Its resolved after following these steps: in the CF app click the 3 vertical dots beside the "+ Create Custom Profile" > then click Repair Installation > then try loading the pack again
