I think you're using a java version too late. Try using java 8 and see how that works.

So I'm using the recommended download for forge 1.16.4 (forge-1.16.4-35.1.4) and OpenJDK 8 x64 for windows. I already installed my profile for 1.16.4 and I go to play it and everything is good so far, it boots up correctly but when it finally loads it returns this: Dalek Mod (dalekmod) has failed to load correctly java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/minecraftforge/common/util/ForgeSoundType I honestly don't know much about java at all. can someone help?
