  1. I guess that makes sense. I can always load linux onto the mac and use that. Thanks for the help.
  2. J2SE 5.0, but the vanilla server works fine, or is that just a forge requirement.

  4. I am trying to set up a minecraft forge server on an old mac for me to use but everytime I install forge to the .jar, the Terminal says it is corrupt. I also tried using a .command file to start the server, but to no avail. I also tried following the Bukkit Mac Server setup guide, (changing all the "craftbukkit.jar's" to minecraft_server.jar's of course) but it didn't work. Also I tested the same jar on a windows and it worked fine. Any help would be much appreciated.
