  1. On any server using Forge, the Achievement-Announcement setting is ignored. They always appear, even when set to false in server.properties. This is true on both regular Forge servers and MCPC+. I talked with bloodshot45 (Kratos_Knox) and he confirmed the bug and asked that I submit something about it. I hope this is the right place. He also said it may be a vanilla issue, that could be patched.
  2. Can you link us to where you found these mods? I tried looking them up based on name, and what I found were mods that weren't designed for Forge.
  3. After installing Forge, place the Optifine.jar in the Mods folder. Keep in mind you need Forge build 830 or newer.
  4. Delete the jar, or the whole 1.6.2 version folder, and let the launcher download a new one by selecting the default account. Then install forge again, and run the forge profile.
  5. Not that I know of, a did a little searching and didn't find anything. I literally just randomly thought "hey I wonder if this would work" one day and it did. In the spoiler below I've written more detailed instructions. This only working with 1.6.X versions and newer. I'm assuming you are on Windows and the official launcher.
  6. This is fairly simple. Make a folder in the .minecraft folder (or where ever you consider to be convenient, doesn't really matter), then open the launcher. Make a new profile or edit the main forge profile. Make sure the forge version is the version it is set to use. Check the box next to Game Directory, and set it as the folder you just made. The mods and config folders, along with a few other files, will be generated in that folder. You will have to copy & paste your options and servers files into that folder or set them manually again. You can do this more than once. For example, I play on a 1.5.2 server and two 1.6.2 servers, and the mods for them aren't compatible. So I have the 1.5.2 mods folder in the main minecraft directory, then the mods folder for one 1.6.2 server is one directory I made, and the mods for the other in another directory. So all three profiles I use have their own directory, and mods loaded depends only on which profile I choose. Hope that helps. Let me know if I you need me to clarify anything.
  7. I see stuff referencing Rei's minimap still. Check the Mods folder and the Config folder for anything related to Rei's. What type of server are you running? As in, are you using MCPC plus, vanilla, ect? That error used to happen with some MCPC plus builds when using certain mods. Not sure if it still does. If you are not using MCPC plus, you might want to give it a try. It effectively integrates Forge, Bukkit, and Spigot. You can get it here: http://ci.md-5.net/job/MCPC-Plus/ If you chose to try it, build 589 is recommended. There will be three downloads, pick the top one. Put it in its own folder, and rename it to server.jar. Open notepad and type the following "java -ms512M -mx1G -jar server.jar". You may want to change the memory min (ms) and max (mx) depending on your hardware. Save it as Launcher.bat to the same folder you put the jar in. Run it and it will set everything up for you. My only other suggestion would be to add in mods one at a time to see what is causing the error. When adding in a certain mod causes it to crash, try taking out other mods to see if its just that mod, or the mod in combination with something else. If one mod depends on another, both can be added at the same time.
  8. The first thing that is apparent is that you have mods installed that are supposed to be client side only, including Rei's, Inventory Tweaks and NEI. They don't work server side, and will work for individual players without the server having them. You may have other mods that are client side only. I'm not familiar with all the ones you have installed.
  9. To use the new launcher with modded 1.5.2, do the following: 1) copy and paste the 1.5.2 folder to the desktop 2) rename the folder to 1.5.2 Mod 3) Rename the the two files in the folder to 1.5.2 Mod 4) open the json file with a text editor, like notepad, and change the id from "1.5.2" to "1.5.2 Mod". 5) Install forge to the 1.5.2 Mod jar. 6) put the 1.5.2 Mod folder in to the versions folder 7) create a new profile and for the version, select "release 1.5.2 Mod" 8 ) proceed as you normally would from then on. Edit: and LexManos beat me to it, although I'm pretty sure the json file also needs to be changed. That's what I did to make it work.
