  1. How do i allow for empty slots in a custom recipe type? [1.20.1]

    the title says it all really, im trying to add recipes that dont need to fill all the slots in my custom block entity, but whatever i try either causes an error or stops the recipe from loading im very new to modding so i dont know what sections of the code you might want to see, so just request any part and ill show
