    Launchwrapper is buggy. Any alternatives?

    Are there alternative (i.e. without Launchwrapper) ways to install Forge in 1.6.1? Because launchwrapper is somewhat buggy (see https://mojang.atlassian.net/i#browse/MCL-921?filter=-2), and this results in VERY unwanted result (inability to login under your own username). I reported this issue to Mojang bug report (see link above), but they quickly closed (not resolved!) it, complaining that: which is VERY misleading because Launchwrapper is written by Mojang! Any ways to fix or workaround?
