  1. Hey all I have another problem. I have this machine that switches textures(basically a furnace) when on or off. Both textures work fine in Eclipse, but only the On texture shows when the furnace is going in minecraft, otherwise I get the missing texture error. Here is my code: http://pastebin.com/HPnmB56k I guess it's something wrong with public void registerIcons(IconRegister par1IconRegister){} but I'm not sure. Any help is appreciated thanks!
  2. Okay could you perhaps elaborate a bit? What would i need in the methods of the TickHandler class(I assume it implements ITickHandler) and do I keep my onArmorTickUpdate in the Item class or the tick class, and how would I link these classes together?
  3. okay so I tried that( i put the code that was in the Else if into the else bracket you told me to make, and I still get the same thing happening
  4. Hey all anyway I have this armor set that when worn, would allow the player to creative fly. However, the armor does allow for such things, but when the armor is removed, the player can still fly(on survival). This shouldn't be happening and if any of you can point out to me why I would be grateful. Anyways here is my code: @Override public void onArmorTickUpdate(World world, EntityPlayer player, ItemStack itemStack) { if (player.inventory.armorItemInSlot(2) != null) { ItemStack itemstack = player.inventory.armorItemInSlot(2); if (itemstack.itemID == FuturologyCore.grapheneSuitChest.itemID) { player.capabilities.allowFlying = true; player.sendPlayerAbilities(); }else if(itemstack.itemID != FuturologyCore.grapheneSuitChest.itemID){ player.capabilities.allowFlying = false; player.capabilities.isFlying = false; } }
  5. What do you mean by SRG names?
  6. Don't tell me my class isn't in my zip, because it is. But anyways, I'm having an error installing my mod. It works beautifully in eclipse, but once I reobfuscate and install it(I'm installing to FTB Unleashed), I get http://pastebin.com/KdetzZLN this error. Does anyone know what's causing this error? My source code is available and updated here: https://github.com/Dtroll/FuturologyMod
  7. Day later... Anybody know this???
  8. I'm trying to get the block's front texture to orient itself, but the side textures override the front and back textures, and i can't figure out why. Here is my code: package Futurology; import java.util.Random; import net.minecraft.block.Block; import net.minecraft.block.BlockContainer; import net.minecraft.block.material.Material; import net.minecraft.client.renderer.texture.IconRegister; import net.minecraft.creativetab.CreativeTabs; import net.minecraft.entity.EntityLiving; import net.minecraft.entity.player.EntityPlayer; import net.minecraft.item.ItemStack; import net.minecraft.tileentity.TileEntity; import net.minecraft.util.Icon; import net.minecraft.util.MathHelper; import net.minecraft.world.World; import net.minecraftforge.common.ForgeDirection; import cpw.mods.fml.common.registry.BlockProxy; import cpw.mods.fml.relauncher.Side; import cpw.mods.fml.relauncher.SideOnly; /*This Block is a very VERY WIP block.
