Quick version of this post: I installed Forge and it works and I need to know how to install the actual mods now that Forge is in. I have successfully installed Forge Mod Loader. However, I have no idea how to actually add the mods in. The 'mods' folder in my .minecraft doesn't do it, and I have heard that Forge for 1.6.2 is just being weird. Here is the link to the instructions I followed to install it: http://www.9minecraft.net/api-minecraft-… I thought steps 10 to 15 were weird because I have never heard of anything like them. But without any other mods, I AM ABLE TO RUN MINECRAFT WITH ONLY FORGE INSTALLED AND IT DOES WORK. So the actual question is, how do I install mods using Forge. I want: Too Many Items ( http://www.minecraftdl.com/too-many-item… ), Optifine ( http://www.6minecraft.net/optifine-hd-do… ), and Not Only More Ores Mod (http://www.9minecraft.net/not-only-more-… I do know how the whole new system of installing mods in 1.6.2 works, I just don't understand Forge.
