    OK so i went and did the two things that robin suggested,and still no luck,i have noticed however that the .jar is opening as a zip file.is this the problem and is there a winrar setting i can use to change this?thanks again

    So I am trying to install Minecraft Forge 9.10.0 on Minecraft 1.6.2. I watched the video in the release forum post and downloaded the installer,but when i opened it,it opened all the files not work as an installer. I looked through all the files for a .exe or something like that,but no luck. Is there something i am doing wrong? BTW im using winrar on windows 8 64x alien ware m14x. Thank you.
