    Thanks for the attempt at help, but my code is all correct as far as i can tell. Changing the hardness is not the problem i have, the problem is setBlockHarvestLevel doesnt work.

    My ore is able to be mined with a wooden pickaxe, despite the setBlockHarvestLevel being set for a diamond pickaxe. My ore material is rock as well so that cant be the issue. I'm stumped on this, has anyone run into a similar problem with setBlockHarvestLevel just not working at all? Thanks -PleasantG
