  1. I successfully made a custom record disc, but I don't know how to go about making creepers drop it in the standard fashion. I checked the creeper code and it appears that records are dropped outside of the drop event, and I don't know what to do to get around it. Could anyone help me with this?
  2. I've tried setupDecompWorkspace, but the build fails, which doesn't happen with setupDevWorkspace.
  3. I'm getting errors when creating a new mod. When I open the mod with eclipse, I get two errors; Project 'Minecraft' is missing required library: 'C:\Users\VideoGameTaco\Desktop\Modding\material_paint\unresolved dependency - forgeSrc 1.7.2-10.12.0.1025' Minecraft Build path Build Path Problem The project cannot be built until build path errors are resolved Minecraft Unknown Java Problem Here are the two commands I'm using to create the mod. gradlew.bat setupDevWorkspace --refresh-dependencies gradlew.bat eclipse
  4. I think the mod example came like that, with two FMLInitialization events. But I'll get the crash log uploaded.
  5. Also, I checked an the achievement page isn't causing the crash.
  6. I created a new achievement and put it in my achievement page. Whenever I open the new page, my game crashes! Can anyone help with this? Mod File: package vgt.material_paint; import vgt.material_paint.block.VGTBlockSketchingTable; import vgt.material_paint.proxy.ProxyCommon; import vgt.material_paint.villager.TradeHandlerArtist; import net.minecraft.block.Block; import net.minecraft.block.material.Material; import net.minecraft.entity.passive.EntityVillager; import net.minecraft.init.Blocks; import net.minecraft.init.Items; import net.minecraft.item.ItemStack; import net.minecraft.s
  7. Thanks for the replies, but I got it figured out now.
  8. I did what you said, diesieben0, but I don't know how to view the source classes.
  9. I would have done that already, but I don't know where to view the source code. It's not possible in this version of forge.
  10. I'd just like to verify that this does indeed work in 1.7.2, besides the fact that the villager ID and skin need to be declared separately, like so. VillagerRegistry.instance().registerVillagerId(villagerId); VillagerRegistry.instance().registerVillagerSkin(villagerId, new ResourceLocation("modid:yourdirectory/villagerSkin.png")); The resource location of "modid:" is in src/main/resources/assets/modid with 'modid' being whatever the id of your mod is.
  11. Does anyone know how to make a block so that some sides is textured differently (ex: Crafting table, furnace, piston)? Here's the related coding. Mod file: package vgt.material_paint; import vgt.material_paint.block.VGTBlockSketchingTable; import vgt.material_paint.proxy.ProxyCommon; import net.minecraft.block.Block; import net.minecraft.block.material.Material; import net.minecraft.init.Blocks; import net.minecraft.init.Items; import net.minecraft.item.ItemStack; import net.minecraft.stats.Achievement; import net.minecraft.stats.AchievementList; import cpw.mods.fml.common.Mod; im
