    Help with forge versions

    Can Forge 1.7.2 run mods for say 1.6.4? if not how do i get one client to be able to have two different Profiles with one running Forge 1.7.2 and the other running 1.6.4. Thanks for all help. Also can forge 1.6.4 run 1.6.4a mods and 1.6.4b mods?
