I'm having this issue. I tried the solution, but get a pop up saying 'You need to run the version 1.7.10 manually at least once'. java -Xmx1G -Xms1G -jar forge-1.7.10-10.13.0.1180-installer.jar Also tried: java -Xmx1024M -jar ... Update: I needed to run Minecraft 1.7.10. I didn't know it was an older version than the one I had run.
