  2. I forgot to update this, but I found what was acting as a chuckloader, it was mistake on my part. As to the lack of time, completely understand, and wanted to thank you one last time for a great mod that has become a staple for all our cities (and the corrupted totems have been great adventure hooks)... Thanks again...
  3. I run a small 1.8 server, and I have created a spawn location that has a welcome chest with a few started items. I've have been looking unsuccessfully for some easy way to have this chest refill itself without me having to check it. If anyone knows of a forge mod or another way to do this please let me know.

  5. The mod still runs great, we have gotten allot of enjoyment out of the use of use both sets of totems... but I had a question and two requests. Question first, does this mod keep the chunk that it is in active even when no player has that chunk loaded??? It seems when I am looking at the server console, that totems are killing things, when someone has the world is loaded but no one is anywhere near a totem... I could be mistaken about all this, and I hope all of that made sense. As to the requests, 1) could you add a block to kill\spawn enders??? 2) could a block be created that spawns zombie pigmen who protect the totem if it is attacked??? Maybe use the same mechanic that is used by wolves when a player attacks one of them. Not sure how hard that would be to do, but even a block that just spawned pigmen would be neat...
  6. I run a small personal forge 1.8 server. I've heard that 1.8 has some problems, especially when it comes to processor usage. This is my first server and I would like to try and upgrade to 1.8.7. So, aside from any issues that I may run into with the mods I am running what is the best way to do this upgrade. Sorry if this question has already been asked, I looked and couldn't find anything.

  8. I have a little 1.8 server that I run for my children, a few friends, and myself. Our Minecraft client will crash whenever anyone accidentally tries to misplace a block. For example in the crash report below, I tried to place a mine cart onto the top of a sand block. I don't know what is causing this crash, whether it is Forge or one of the mods I am running. I am hoping that someone here can help me identify what is causing this crash.   9. That looks great, I didn't have a whole lot of time last to play test it last night, but from the brief glance it looked and ran great. I'll have more time to actually really use it when we have our group play session over the weekend. I'll keep you posted, thanks again.
  10. Something that acts like a modified version of the normal mob spawner would work for what I want. Maybe the mobs it spawns are a little stronger, or another possibility is the totem actually hurts the plays and "good" mobs while spawning the standard mob. Let me explain the reason I ask, I run a small RPG server, on it we have a few small tombs, a large crypt, and an evil temple (plus some places I would like to add in the future) and while I can add the normal spawner, I like the look of the totems and going forward may be able to work in a quest involving "The light and dark totems".
  11. I run a small RP modded 1.8 server, and just wanted to let you know, that this is a great mod and so far has perfectly on our server. Do, you think that there is any way that you can make an "evil" version of the totems that attracts mobs???
  12. I know this is an old problem and I have reading as much as I can to find a solution but I am getting the dreaded... Internal exception: io.netty.handler.timeout.readTimeoutexception this is happening on both sides of my router from multiple different players and so far everything I have read gives a different solution and none have worked. Here are some of things I have tried, I changed the max-tick-time to 0, lowered the network-compression-threshold to 100, played with the view-distance right now it is 10, reverted back to the recommended version of forge 1334. Given all I have read, I am fairly certain this isn't a forge issue but my players and I have spent to much time on this world and I am just not sure where to turn at this point. Any advise or suggestions would be much appreciated (please be gentle, this is my first server and I am still new to all of this), and I dont know if it will help but i'll post a crash log. http://pastebin.com/2yP28iD2
  13. This is a great mod, but I seem to have one issue. Anytime I try to put iron armor (helm, chest plate, leggings, or boots. Swords work fine) my client crashes. below are the error logs. Hope you can help, I really enjoy this mod.   15. Every time I try to place iron armor (helmet, chest plate, leggings, or boots. Swords work fine) all of my clients will crash (this happens both in single player and on my modded server). I am not sure where what is causing this problem (forge or one of the mods). Any help would be appreciated.
