    Alright, alright. I bit the bullet and am now using 1.8 with Forge. But the question now is: do you have any idea when we should expect Mojang's release of Minecraft version 1.8.2, and how long after its release will you be able to release Forge 1.8.2?

    Any idea when there will be a formal release for Forge 1.8.1 so we don't have to go changing file names and editing JSON files in order to play Minecraft 1.8.1 with mods?

    Hey Lex, You're doing an excellent job with Forge. I honestly couldn't appreciate the work you're doing much more. Without your API, Minecraft would be so ... boring and vanilla. I've been watching the releases roll out pretty regularly. You just released the first new update for Forge 1.7.10 in a while, and 1.8 betas get pretty frequent updates. The reason I'm posting to the forum, though, is because I'd hoped you could provide some insight as to when we can expect any form of Forge 1.8.1 to come out. Hope to hear from you soon, Matthew
