Hey, I just wanted to advertise my blog! I have no idea if this is against the EAQ because I only saw stuff about bug reports. If advertizing is against the rules I'm sorry. Anyways, I would like to show you guys my blog. I have been posting for about a year now, and there are 60+ post for you to enjoy. If you enjoy stories with a ton of aspects from your favourite sci fi movies then this is for you. I originally started by making Minecraft stories, but they have evolved to apply to the real world. The stories take place in the real world but are loosely based off of my experiences in Minecraf
  2. And what he said . Yeah basically try to download from the official mod site when you can because it supports the modders. Lots of times modders will have ads on their websites, which makes them money, which makes their mods better. I always download maps from PMC or MC Forums.
  3. OMG cant believe I did that, thanks
  4. You really have to be careful about the sites you download mods from. Lots of them are malicious. Take a look at this site to see those malicious sites: https://github.com/VictiniX888/Illegal-Mod-Sites/blob/master/SITES.md As for sites you should go on, planetminecraft is a great place to start.
  5. I would check out Twilight Forest and Orespawn mods
  6. Hey I would love to help you out. I have a lot of experience with Bukkit/Spigot servers. I have been an admin/dev on 13 servers and I'm good with people. Since I have a lot of experience I can advise on ways to help your server be the best it can be!
  7. Make sure there are no item id or otherwise conflicts between mods.

  9. I am running the latest 1.7.10 forge and the game does not even get to the mojang screen before it crashes. Here is the log: [11:11:08] [main/DEBUG] [FML/]: Injecting tracing printstreams for STDOUT/STDERR. [11:11:08] [main/INFO] [FML/]: Forge Mod Loader version for Minecraft 1.7.10 loading [11:11:08] [main/INFO] [FML/]: Java is Java HotSpot 64-Bit Server VM, version 1.8.0_25, running on Windows 7:amd64:6.1, installed at C:\Users\Gaming\Downloads\runtime\jre-x64\1.8.0_25 [11:11:08] [main/DEBUG] [FML/]: Java classpath at launch is C:\Users\Gaming\AppData\Roaming\.minecra
  10. Okay so now here is my question. If I am loading a map that was made with 1.6.4 mods, and I update the mods to 1.7.10, then how bad will it corrupt the map if at all?
  11. Sorry I know it says on the EAQ not to do hidden tabs but I did the code for a spoiler. Sorry i'm new to the forum. Here is the mod list if you can't see it. Autoutils Carpenter's Blocks Chisel Crafting Pillars Custom NPCs Elevators Flenix Cities mods Staircraft WorldEdit Forge
  12. Hey, so I am running the latest version of Forge 1.6.4 (This is necessary for all my mods that I am using are 1.6.4). I am using Java 7 and i'm running the new launcher (The new one with its own run time). I have the following mods installed: When I start up the launcher it goes through the launching process and then just disappears off to it's Hawaii vacation or something. But it just disappears and I have no idea why. I did some research online and none of the problems I found were quite like mine. Here is a link to the log. http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=ZVgS6ajM Thank you in a
