  1. Minecraft 1.9 was a thing. I tried it. It was fun. Decided to go back to my modded worlds because vanilla just feels so... vanilla. Forge profile is no longer in launcher. Okay, I'll download and install again. The installer will download just fine, but my computer refuses to run it. I opened a terminal in my downloads folder, typed java "forge-1.7.10-1.13.4.1558-1.7.10-installer.jar" to try and run it directly, and received Error occurred during initialization of VM java/lang/NoClassDefFoundError: java/lang/Object as a return. I understand very little of java, but I tried manually setting the classpath to the folder I had placed the .jar in, and received the same error. Any help would be much appreciated, as right now I can't install or use Forge. EDIT - I facepalmed REALLY hard when I realized what happened. Java couldn't find its own .lang file. After reinstalling java, it runs just fine.
  2. Thanks a bunch! For future reference, could you tell me which line number on the gist you found that in?
  3. https://gist.githubusercontent.com/anonymous/04bbaf15015aad125181/raw/log%20for%20thread Thanks for the tip.
  4. My bad. Wrong log. How much do you want? This log is quite long. And by long I mean it's too big to post all at once...
  5. Fair point. Will the standard crash report do, or shall I grab a version of the crash log that's closer to the source code? Edit: The logs themselves (as in the ones in the "logs" folder) are all .gz files, and are thus unreadable by humans. Edit #2: Nevermind, with a bit of jiggery-pokery, I got something.
  6. When I opened minecraft this morning, it said I needed to get Forge 10.13.3.1360 or better. So I went to the official download page and got the latest version for 1.7.10, 10.13.3.1408-1.7.10, and changed the profile in the launcher to match. When I run minecraft with the new version of Forge, it shows the new version loading screen (white background with loading bar(s) and the forge anvil gif) like always, but when it gets to Mantle on the mod config (bottom loading bar), the whole thing just freezes up and then crashes. I have the latest version of Mantle, and all my mods are up to date. I have a picture of the error: https://www.dropbox.com/s/uynbutz4odlxpcj/Forge%20Fail.PNG?dl=0
