I figured it out. application.conf had: provider = "akka.cluster.ClusterActorRefProvider" cluster isn't part of akka-actor its part of akka-cluster. I've switched to provider = "akka.actor.LocalActorRefProvider" instead. -
gradle runClient fails, missing library in gradle dependencies

I'm trying to use akka inside my scala based mod. The when testing using "gradle runClient" it gives errors, best I can tell its missing the akka library at runtime.
