  1. Hello, is it possible to make a crafting recipe that requires a certain player's head? Like if you wanted to create a special type of block, it'd require Notch's player head. If you could include the exact code to do so, that'd be extremely appreciated. Thanks.
  2. I added that to my Blockstate and It's still not working. I didn't add anything really to my BlockBeans.java that tells it to act anything like Sugar Cane except it extending BlockReed. Where/how would I set up the ages in the Block class?
  3. I really haphazardly put together this code, taking code from Sugar Cane and seeing if it works. I got it so it works exactly like Sugar Cane, but it doesn't have any textures to it. I know I'm missing a part where I label each texture for each age of it, but I have no idea how to do that. So if you can help me out it'd be appreciated. 5. Do you know where the code is for showing a block in an inventory?

  8. EDIT: I fixed this by moving everything having to do with rendering the stair block in BlockStonebrickLightStairs to RandomBlocks. I made a custom stair and I don't know why it's not working properly. I can see the block in game, fully rendered and textured, it's just in the inventory slot it's a no textured block. It also is a full-sized block in my hand while looking in third-person. 9. Hi, I'm pretty new to Forge modding, I was wondering how and where you would make it so Silverfish are able to go inside a new block like they do with Stone and Stone Brick. The code below is the block I would like to add it to. [embed=425,349] package com.test.mod.blocks; import net.minecraft.block.Block; import net.minecraft.block.material.Material; public class BlockDarkStonebrick extends Block { public BlockDarkStonebrick(Material materialIn) { super(materialIn); } } [/embed]
